Switching to Tier 2 general from Tier 2 dependent visa

Hi,

I have a query regarding Tier 2 general visa.

I am planning to change my Tier 2 dependent visa to Tier 2 general and I need to go back to my home country to do this.
So, can I show the funds from UK bank to meet the requirements or the funds should be from my home country?
Can I submit my recent pay slips? If yes, is it for last 3 months?

Any help highly appreciated.

uk bank statement is fine. probably preferred.
