Switching from Tier 1 Ent to Tier 2

Hello Moderators,

I am currently on Tier 1 Entrepreneur and have applied for extension.

I have a couple of queries as below:

1) However, I would like to know that if I can switch from Tier 1 Ent to Tier 2 while my application is under consideration for extension?

2) If yes, then is there a possibility of an interview?

Could someone from moderators please advise if you have come across this situation please?

Yes, you can vary the extension to a Tier 2

Depending on your circumstances but probably not
