SSP,CA,and part time job

Post by iftkr » Fri May 12, 2017 12:56 pm

HI,
there i need some advice about my current situation if someone suggest me highly appreciate your worthy advice.
1.i'm now claiming SSP i have some health issue i've been working since 1999.
2. i want to sponsor my non eu wife to settle down here in uk i know my earning are low to meet the financial requirements so i'm going to claim carer allowance for my disable relative as i know claiming the carer allowance is exempt me to financial requirements and allow me to go thru adequate maintenance.
3.Is i'm eligible to carer allowance while getting the statutory sick pay.
4.and can i do part time 15 hours job with it.

highly appreciate your worthy advice.
regards,
iftkr

This is an immigration forum and to the best of my knowledge we have no benefits specialists. I would assume that you haven't had a response as members don't have the answer.

I suggest that you contact your local CAB for free advice on what your entitlement is to claim both SSP & Carer's Allowance.
(Casa, not CR001)
Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.
