Family Member of asylum seeker returned to homeland

Hey Guys. I need help on this. My mother came to Uk on a family reunion visa, my father being the principal asylum seeker. Her Father (my grandfather) died and she had to return to pakistan for his funeral. How long can she stay there ? she has BRP (British Residential Permit) with her. As she is not the principal asylum seeker, will she be a problem for her on her way back ? i am worried that she will be detained on the airport. PLease do reply
