Change of name in Naturalisation Application

Hi everyone,

Sorry, I'm just looking for a bit of further clarification on this if possible. I have been in a position to apply for citizenship for some time (since 2014) but for financial purposes wasn't able to. I just got married last month, and have already sent my US passport off to get my name changed. I'd like to apply for citizenship in my married name. My US passport will be in my married name, but my BRP is in my maiden name. Do I really have to get my ILR changed before I can apply for citizenship? Or can I just send in my current US passport (married name) as well as previous passport (maiden name) and BRP (maiden name)?
