Hi Everyone,
I'm creating this post to help out anyone who is currently married and would like to apply for a spouse visa for their partner but, is newly self-employed (a director of a limited liability company which is less than 1 year old).
Details:
I am a British Citizen and my wife is a Nigerian Citizen. I started working as a self-employed individual in February 2016 and legally married my wife in November 2016. In order to apply for the Spouse Visa, for the financial requirements, I wrote a letter to the Visa Immigration Officer explaining that I just started a limited liability company and that my company has profits that are over the financial requirement even after taxes.
To back up this claim, I provided a letter from my Accountant to verify my companies earnings and submitted Bank statements from both my personal and business bank accounts.
