Do I need to take A2 SELT for visa extension

Do I need to take A2 SELT for visa extension

Hi,

I am about to apply for a spouse visa extension (after 2.5 years of stay).I know that it's now mandatory to clear A2 level SELT exam.My question is that I have already cleared B1 level IELTS exam during my initial application for entry, but now it's expired.Do I need to take A2 SELT before my application?Please advice.
