Visitor Visa Queries

Post by Gaulochan » Mon May 15, 2017 12:15 pm

Background:
My parents and my sister applied for a Visitors Visa to UK for a family visit a couple of weeks ago. My parents got the Visa but my sister was rejected and the reason for rejection was she did not provide enough documents that would ensure that the time period of 3 months stay in UK that she stated on her application would be a paid or unpaid leave and when she goes back to her country, would the job still be opened for her.

She applied again with all the required documents from her job that states about her leave and she mentioned that she will have 1.5 months of total leave and she is gonna stay in UK for 1.5 months. Her application got approved and 180 days (6 months) has been granted.

My question is, does she have to fly back in that 1.5 months of stay time frame? She says she can still manage to get another month of unpaid leave from her work.

She should return within her specified time. Else, they may refuse her future visitor applications.
