This isn't entirely true actually. I just got my daughter ILR (SET(LR)) even though she is in the UK solely under the EEA rules. The current ILR instructions tell caseworkers that, as long as all other requirements for ILR are met, they are required to count time spent under the EEA rules towards the qualifying period for ILR.Casa wrote:If you hold an EEA permit you wouldn't qualify for ILR under the Immigration Rules.
