FLR(FP) as a Parent - 7 year child

Hi there...this is my first post.I will b grateful if anyone can give me any idea about the future outcome.
Came uk 2001 as student and up to 2008 I had visa. Since 2009 trying to legalize but keep failing. Last application made was 2016 June flr(fp)basis of my son's 7years. He was that time 7 years 1 month. Next month he will b 8 years. Also my daughter going to b 7 at next December. Both born here never visit outside of the uk. Me& my wife non-EU. My wife came here 2005 as my dependent since then she never visit outside the UK.
So now 11 month running since I made my application had done bio-metric as well but no decision. Could someone tell me something about it please???
