Entry clearance application as spouse of a British citizen.

Post by Jagjit1234 » Thu May 18, 2017 3:10 pm

Hi All,

I am going to apply entry clearance for my wife under settlement category. To meet the income requirement I am claiming income from my Ltd company (salary+dividend).
Tricky part is company was incorporated on 1st July last year, and to match my financial year with self assessment I shortened the financial year to 31st march. Although I have earned more than required in last financial year, will visa officer consider it as a full financial year?

Looking forward for experts opinion on this.

Thanks

Dear Vinny,

Thanks for reply.

I have already gone through the FM-SE(specified evidence) and it only refers to full financial year. Now technically my companies last full financial year is on 9 months and i have earned more than required to meet the threshold. My doubt is, will immigration consider it a full financial year or the want to see only financial year with 12 months.

Thanks
