partner's PP not back yet , had applied with main applicant

Post by simplicity79 » Thu May 18, 2017 4:55 pm

I applied from outside uk as tier 2 main applicant along with my partner and child. I have received my passport and few days later child's passport has also come back but partner's passport is not sent yet. We got the email 11 days ago that partner's decision has been made but passport is not sent back yet.Is there anything like partner's passport will be sent back once the main applicant arrives in UK and starts working.

Can I change the start date after getting 30 day vignette

Post by simplicity79 » Fri May 19, 2017 12:22 pm

I have 30 day sticker valid from 16/5/2017 until 15/6/2017.
My start date is 5/6/2017 but might need to change it to 19/6/2017.
Please advise would it affect the travel date as I intended to travel on 23/5/2017 initially but as I am changing the start date do I need to follow the same rule that a person can come to UK not more than 14 days before start date.Does this rule still apply if I have a visa valid from 16/5/2017.
Do i need to inform UKVI or my employer would have to do it.

She may apply for a vignette transfer when they return your partner's passport.

Have you queried if they lost your partner's passport?

Just an update that passport was sent back after 3 months (60 working days). So plz be aware of that and this can happen. We sent email to ukvi twice and finally we got passport. They apologized for the delay. So please do send an emil, if thet think that they need to reply they do reply.
