Hi,
I'm a Spanish national married to an Iranian woman. Right now she is living with me in Spain under a residency card of a family member of the EU, but we are living at my parents' (both unemployed). I will be moving to London to study a Master's Degree in September, and we are applying for her EEA Family Permit to travel with me to the UK and stay.
I have a couple of questions:
- Since I am planning on providing the University's Admissions Letter to show I will be a qualified person once in the UK, do I need to provide financial evidence that my parents will pay for the tuition fee and living expenses? Do I need to mention they will be supporting her as well, based on the same evidence? A bank letter is enough or do we need a statement? What about not being a burden on the state? Do we need to buy comprehensive health insurance BEFORE going to the UK?
- When completing the online form, we do not really know what to state in her and mine current working status. In both cases, the options are unemployed/supported by spouse-partner-other. What is the right thing to say, considering right now we are both unemployed but I'll be a student in the UK and she'll be moving with me, based on my parents' money?
- There is a bunch of questions about her that we don't know how to answer:
