Can a Standard settlement visa application be fast tracked.

Sorry this might have been asked before?
My son applied for his wife Settlement visa after his recent marriage abroad. Supporting documents are already with Sheffield office since mid-May.
He is planning to hold a reception in London during August holidays hoping his wife would get the required visa before that. As this was a Standard application, Can any one tell me if it is possible to Fast Track it due to time constraints. If so, how do we go about it. Thx

I'm afraid if he has already submitted his biometrics then he will be unable to change to fast track now.

There's also a bit of a backlog at the moment so even priority visas are taking 6-12 weeks (on average in my opinion).
