Tier 4 working allowance

Post by CalvinB » Sat May 27, 2017 11:57 pm

Hi guys,
I have little bit confusion about the Tier 4 work permit as it is allowed to work 20 hours per week. As an example, my university term time will end at 9th of June. If i work 20 hours from 5th June (Monday) till 9th June (Friday). Also If i work 10 June ans 11 June (Saturday and Sunday) it might go over 20 hours. Therefore, from the 10th of June i will be on vacation based on university calendar. If i count total hours that i worked on 7 days it will be more than 20 hours. Is it breach of law? Thank you guys foe your help.

How to count the "week" is defined in Paragraph 6 of the immigration rules:

Under Part 6A of these Rules, “week” means a period of 7 days beginning with a Monday.
