Hi
Myself and wife have been living in the UK since 2014.
my wife who is originally from pakistan, she has lost her passport. we have been to the Pakistan consulat in manchester in 2016. it has now been over a year since she did submitted application for replacment passport. they are telling us that this can take a long time. upto you three years as there waiting for confirmation from local authority in pakistan. has any body else faced these problems? is this the norm? is there away to spead it up?
