Hello all,
This is my first post in the forum. I recently applied for a tier 2 general visa. The entry clearance was refused.
The reasons given for refusal were:
1. Failure to produce English language proficiency certificate: I had opted for a service with VFS (the agency coordinates with consulates) wherein I can submit documents at a later stage. I submitted the proficiency certificate on the same day of my appointment within a few hours. This certificate somehow failed to reach the consulate. Perhaps VFS failed to send it to the consulate.
2. Maintenance funds: My sponsor had agreed to sponsor me for the first month of my stay. However while generating the CoS, she forgot to mention it in the CoS. To maintain consistency with the CoS, I mentioned self funded in the application form. However I did produce an authorised letter from my sponsor saying that I'll be taken care off during the first month.
Should I go for a review considering the mistake regarding language proficiency certificate was from VFS and as for the maintenance, the letter should be considered?
Or should I reapply and begin the process right from the start?
