Asylum seeker's dependent

Hello there,
I am an asylum seeker and have had my screening interview. I have applied for my own as family was in home country. Now one of my son has had study visa and will be there soon. My question is whether I can make him add on my case as my dependent as by doing so his Education will be free along with some other benefits?

Could you please reply if any of you know about it
