error in online application

Hi everyone,

I am due for renewal of my tier 2 visa and had submitted my online application already, paid the necessary fees and submitted the required documents. Ive just found out that I placed the wrong annual salary. Instead of using the gross annual salry reflected in my CoS, ive used the net annual salary reflected in my payslip and cert of employment. will this be of great bearing? what can i do to correct this error?

Attach a letter, stating the question number in form and what mistake is made and submit it with the application
