Mother's DOB change in Birth Certificate

Dear Readers,

Sometime ago I successfully applied for a Tier 4 visa and in the application my parents details were requested. I filled it out according to my birth certificate. Now, I am going to apply for a Tier 2 visa and the same details are required. But after applying my tier 4 visa, I discovered that my mothers DOB in my birth certificate is incorrect and now I managed to change it legally. If I use the corrected mom's DOB would it be considered deception or false statement? I have never used fake or illegal documents. What do you think I should do? Should I attach the new affidavit and proof of legal DOB change? I am concerned about false information etc?
