Lost documents - proof of address

Post by Bay Leaf » Tue May 30, 2017 12:58 pm

I have 6 pieces of correspondence in my wife's name for our current and last address (covering the last 30 months). These are from a number of different, but appropriate sources e.g. GP, Council Tax, HMRC. However, we lost some documents while moving house (May 2016) and, having naively and thoughtlessly set up utility bills and bank account in my own name only, the correspondence is not spaced perfectly evenly across the period. The best I can offer would be something like: Jan 2015, Feb 2016, April 2016, July 2016, April 2017, June 2017.

I meet the income requirement comfortably, and my wife has never overstayed. Neither of us have any criminal convictions in any country and we have a small child who is a British Citizen. I know I have been foolish. I should have checked the requirements more carefully and further in advance, and treated correspondence in my wife's name like gold dust - but can anyone advise on how worried I should be? Is there any other evidence that we could offer?
