Tier 2 Sponsorship cancelled

Post by Blessed13 » Wed May 31, 2017 2:29 pm

Dear All,

Unfortunately my sponsorship was cancelled because I haven't passed my IELTS exam. I have a nursing degree here in the UK that is why they were able to sponsor me. So sad that they just terminated their sponsorship and informed the HO about it. Anyway I have to move on.

1. Can I apply for FLR so I can stay longer to take my exam and look for an employer?

Please help me.

IELTS seems to be an employer specific requirement in your case. I don't think IELTS UKVI or NARIC is needed to earn the language points if you have a UK degree.

After your employer notifies the HO, the Home Office will eventually curtail your visa. You have to leave the country within 60 days of receiving the curtailment letter. In practise, the Home Office can take months to send the letter. I was out of job for 2 months but didn't receive the curtailment letter. You are free to apply for a new visa before the curtailment date.

I was sponsored by one of NHS hospital alresdy even without my IELTS. My degree was accepted by the UKba assessor. However, I was not able to pass my IELTS. Its been already 7 mos. But all througout those months I got sick two times and I have to find some financial help to pay for my exam.

I am thinking, if just incase I recieved my curtailment and i havent find a sponsor yet because I havent achieved the 7 score in all task (though new rule is I can submit two results if I got 6.5 as long as on my second take the 6.5 will be 7 -still tough though). Can I apply for FLR visa to extend my stay and able to continue taking this dreadful IELTS exam?

I think we have the same situation. Are you also a nurse back home?

Thanks for answering on my first post.
