Tier 2 General Dependent query

Post by Bpdias19 » Thu Jun 01, 2017 9:35 pm

Hi,

I'm currently Tier2 General Dependent and my spouse is will be applying for ILR (Indefinite leave to remain) in July this year, 2017. He’s switching to ILR from Tier 2 General, once his 5 years completed.

As a dependent, I'm on my fourth year in the UK with my spouse.

Dependent Visa flow
2013-Nov 16 (Entered to the UK as Tier 2 PARTNER Main Applicant) - applied from outside of the UK
2015-Sep-07 to 10-Oct-2018 (Type: PBS DEPENDANT LEAVE TO REMAIN) – applied from the United Kingdom

So, I will be completing 4 years and 11 months in the UK when I reach 2018-10-10

Based on the information given above could you please clarify the following queries for me;

1) When my spouse applies for ILR in July 2017 (Once he granted ILR Visa), would this affect my current Visa (PBS DEPENDANT LEAVE TO REMAIN) status?
(Note: whether I can travel abroad with my existing visa)
2) If the answer is Yes to question 1, can I extend My PBS Dependent visa again to complete my 5 years in UK?
3) Once I complete my 5 years in the UK, Can I apply for ILR?
4) Can I apply for ILR before completing my 5 years?

Thanks in Advance!
