Hi, I applied for my wife via the Spouse Visa from India for the UK - we meet the required criteria. It has been 11 weeks now since we applied. I heard a rumour that applications were put on hold but have now started again.

Is that true they on hold?
Is it true that are no longer on hold?
Do you know how long they were on hold?
Do you know why they were on hold?

As I was expecting an answer after 13 weeks (if you include the 4 bank holidays in the UK - for easter and 2 in may).

Any advise would be great - thanks

Hi rai75, Home office has paused FEW application after MIR judgement on Feb 22, 2017 but in this case they have informed the applicant regarding the pause. Other applications are being processed as normal. You might refer below thread for further information
