Mixed messages from UKVI

Post by AES90 » Mon Jun 05, 2017 1:20 pm

So I just called UKVI call centre and they said my application is awaiting decision. I was pleased as I had been getting "waiting to be assessed" for some time. However, they said there's been no change since I first submitted.

I told my friend who is also applied around the same time and he called on Thursday and at that time they said not assessed and today they said awaiting decision.

Is this new terminology by UKVI? Anyone got this experience as well?

No need to open another thread with the same question. If anyone has the same experience they will no doubt respond in time.

Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.
