PIO to OCI

Can someone share the experience of converting PIO card to OCI ?

I have applied online and have appointment booked with VFS. As per application n instructions only documents needed are PIO Card and Current passport.

Just wondering if they will ask for any other document. Its for Minor applicant.

Also will they keep the PIO card and current passport ?, Do I need to take self addressed envelope for the return of documents ?
