Hi all, I bought a british airways ticket to nigeria transit via heathrow airport. A friend of mine at work told me the trouble they gave him in nigeria when he was returning back to ireland via the same british airways , they refused to take him back stating he didnt have a uk transit visa, he had to go buy another ticket from another airline to return to ireland. he hold a stamp4eufam same as myself. Havnt heard what happened to him I decided to apply for a uk transit visa, it's been 7weeks and not heard a single word from anyone they have my passport and i cant even get my passport back. Even went back to the centre in Dublin to withdraw the application thats been 4 weeks ago and still not heard anything. last week I paid £5.47 to send an enquiry and still no reply. I am travelling first week of july and I'm really worried about this. please anyone with any past experience or useful information will be of great help, really confuse and don't know what to do right now.
