Tier 2 Visa Joining Date Issue

Hi All,

My joining day was 5th June and I had submitted my visa application on 15th May. I rang Visa inquiry number and they had advised me decision haven't made yet. My joining date is already passed. I am updating my employer every week about my application.

Do you think it will be an issue?

Joining date can be varied according to your visa start date. Visa start date is much important than job start date and your HR will change the start date accordingly.
Just ask your HR for how many weeks they will wait for your visa to come.
