TIER 2 DEPENDANT(Online Application)-Help 2017

Hi,

Even I want to apply for my wife visa who is at the moment is in India. The information on this link is quite useful to me.

I have some queries i.e. while filling out the application form, there was a message on the online application form as below;

"For 6th April 2017, Tier 2 (General) adult applicants whose employment is under prescribed standard occupational classification (SOC) code, ad their adult dependents must provide original and English translated overseas criminal record certificates from all countries in which they have resided for 12 months or more in the past 10 years while 18 or over. My SOC code is 2136 and I am on Tier 2 general, and I am currently in UK.

So is this Criminal Record Certificate is mandatory ? And do we both need to provide this certificate ?

Could you please someone help me on this.

Hello seniors and moderators,

Could you please help me with my queries.

I went through the link as I mentioned in my previous post, and looks like this certificate is not mendatory for my SOC code as my SOC code is 2136 and its related to programming.

If you all could give your thoughts on this and help me on this as I don't want to miss any document with the application.

Also if anyone has recently applied for their dependent visa after April 2017, could help me on this as well.

I hope you are well.
I am in a similar sitiation. i am applying visa for my wife after 6th of april so i am not sure if i need to get one for her. my SOC code is 2136 as well and is not in the list.

But i wanted to check if you found any more information on this?
