Urgent advice needed regarding a Criminal Case

Post by harjinder82 » Sun Jun 11, 2017 10:20 am

Hi
In Feb 2016 i was charged with some criminal offence but i pleaded not guilty. i was on bail. case forwarded to crown court. after 18 months i got my Trial in June 2017 where i was found not guilty and acquited without any charge on my record.
now i want to apply for BC. i want to ask that if i need to declare anything from above in my application and if yes, then where in application. My record is still clean as nothing happened.
in other things, i have one Fixed Penalty notice in the last 12 months. Do i need to declare that as well in my application. if yes, then where in application.

Your advice would be much appreciated.

I would advise to still mention this in "additional information" section even though you were not charged. You can still answer NO to the question asking about criminal conviction. Having FPN is also not an issue.
