Hello,
My wife has just had her spouse visa rejected on language grounds for the rather pathetic reason they need a letter to prove her English degree is recognised in the UK. Why they didn't get in touch and query this during the application rather than waiting 3 months and rejecting it I don't know. I can only assume they want to claw more money out of us for an appeal.
Anyway...
She has a business visa that expires in the middle of July. Now she has her passport back, would it be advised to travel to the UK with the knowledge that the spouse visa had been rejected? I would imagine the border people would be a little suspicious in light of this? She does have valid business reasons to travel.
Thanks,
J
