tier 2 dependent application-funds&criminal record

Hi i am here in the uk under tier 2 visa and i am applying for my huband's dependent visa. I just want to confirm from anyone who has successfully applied as to who should havethe maintenance funds for more than 90days - is it me or my husband? Second, i understand that an additional requirement of criminal record certificate is now needed. Is it only my husband who should need to provide this, or should i provide it as well? Thank you all so much.
