Two Home Office Case Numbers

Post by faraimelody » Wed Jun 14, 2017 8:36 pm

Hi all!!

Fist time here so I really appreciate your patience.

I was 13 when an asylum application was made on my behalf and it was refused. I was granted discretionary leave to remain outside normal immigration rules. This was in 2011 (September).

This expired in September 2014. After that I was granted 2.5 years.

My leave is expiring 30/06/2017.

It looks like the Home Office may have moved me onto the 10 year route instead of the 6 year route.

I have also noticed I have 2 different case numbers (the home office told me I should just have one).

They have also said I will have to pay 2 application fees. They have advised me to apply for further leave instead of ILR, and write a covering letter requesting clarification of where I stand.

Does anyone have any experience of something like this? I'm confused and need some serious help!!

Thank you so much xx
