I applied for ilr based on discretionarily leave to remain and I had a premium appointment with Croydon branch which was later referred due to on going police investigation then on affray. I was charged but the case was later dropped in court as all witness testify that I was innocent. During that same time I was arrested for conspiracy to defraud and my application has been on hold since march last year. I have just reported to police bail and was told that after careful consideration, there are no sufficient evidence and that I will not be charged or placed on bail so I am allowed to go it they will carry on with their investigation which can be indefinite as we know the law has now changed on the 4th of April this year regarding pre charge bail terms condition. Since I am not on bail, charged or found guilty what will be the update on my application. I have 3 kids and unable to get work at the moment due to this. I have just finish university studying information technology management. Please advice what the situation should be now thanks.
