evidence for unpaid leave

Post by bubu0406 » Sat Jun 17, 2017 4:42 pm

Hello All,

I hope you all are well. I have some queries about applying ILR. I will be very appreciated if you can help me on this. I am going to apply ILR after living in UK for 5 years under tier 2 visa.
I am confused about how to provide the evidence for absence in UK. I have annual leave for 5 weeks every year and I also requested 1 or 2 weeks unpaid leave every year as well. All my leaves are for personal holidays or family visit. what evidence can I show them for the unpaid leave? Do I need to proivde explanation why I requested extra leave every year?

thank you very much for the help

The employer letter must report ALL absences from work, whether paid or unpaid particularly if you were absent from the UK.
