Visit Visa to UK for my Parents

Hi

I live in UK on ILR since 6 years, and need to get my parents for visit.
I have 2 brothers in India living in Bangalore.
My Parents live in Native town and like to know what documents are needed to submit in application. Particularly around their finances and ties with India.
Appreciate your advise.

My Parents belong to Tamilnadu, India. Due to logistics reasons, they cannot go to visa office in chennai. Can they apply in Bangalore VFS centre?

Based on my experience the below is my checklist. Property, family ties and a sound financial situation always helps for a clean process.
# Any property documents in English or translated and affiliated.
# Parents address proof.
# If they are employed then payslip, letter from HR stating reference etc.
# Bank statements showing regular income and enough accessible funds to spend for the trip. If you are sponsoring the trip entirely then it will be different scenario.
# Show your fund status in UK as well. Some may say this is not required if you are not supporting but I always added those.
# Your UK address proof
# Your invitation letter to them
# Letter to Embassy from you with details of you and your family here.
# Letter to Embassy from them with details relating to visa

There is no restriction on where you apply. After you fill in and pay for the application you will have to book appointment. You will be able to select one of the available VFS center.
