British by descent or otherwise?

Post by wentots » Tue Jun 20, 2017 11:37 pm

Hi,

My family migrated here in the UK since 2006, my mum and dad was ILR at that time after 5-6 years (2011-2012) we applied for british citizen (neutralisation). Would I be a british citizen by descent or otherwise?

I wanted to know because my wife who is currently in the phillippines is pregnant with a boy and I was just wondering if I would be able to get my son a british passport? As I am planning to sponsor my wife to come to UK.

I am a british citizen (via neutralisation).

Thank you very much!
