Tier2 to ILR

Dear Moderators

I had my first Tier2 general issued in 7/8/12
I entered the UK on 10/09/12 (5 weeks later)
my current leave expires 15/08/17
I believe I can apply for ILR on Monday 10/07/17, am I right?

I also had my current employer's letter stating that I am (still required for the job until the end of my contract which is 1st of august 2017) this is obviously only 20 days after my application date, will it be ok as a ''foreseeable future''
