Biometric Card

Hello.
I wonder if anyone could help.

We had our ILR granted and biometric card issued in March 2012. My children's biometric card was only for 5 years so it needed renewal on March 2017. I have submitted it in then and they have attended finger print marking at post office but passport and card has not arrive yet until today.

I am really worried as my daughter has a school trip and need her passport. And my eldest daughter is going to college and need to send her passport and biometric card to show her status by July otherwise she cant be offered the space.

Anyone can advice please ..
