Dependent status after British Citizenship

Post by arunsk » Sat Jun 24, 2017 12:13 am

Hi All,

Could someone please clarify this?
I received ILR in April 2016 and now eligible to apply for Naturalization.
I got married after I received ILR and my wife joined me last year on family of settled person visa.
My query is regarding her visa status once I apply for Naturalization.
Can she continue under the same visa and apply for extension (using FLR M) once it expires and reach ILR or does her visa need to changed?
My understanding is that she can continue under the same visa and need to complete 5 years to become eligible for ILR.
Please clarify.

regards
Arun
