Switching employers with Tier 2

Post by purplefin » Tue Jun 27, 2017 6:43 am

Hi everyone!
I am currently in the process of switching employers, I will not finish my visa with my current employer. I am thinking to get a standard visa but I am worried that the visa will come out and I can still be working with my current employerz Is it alright that the working visas might overlap? I had already my COS from my incoming employer.

UKVI will cancel your existing leave if a new leave was granted with a new employer. So, there is no question of visa overlap. You need to be better informed on switching employers as this appears to be a bit of a complex process. See thread below

Any suggestions I make in the forum are out my personal experience and should not be taken as a legal/professional advise.
