Pre payment of fees for tier 4?

Post by Artu » Thu Jun 29, 2017 3:07 pm

Would like to know if prepayment of fees is important for visa application or not
I've more than the required funds in my account although if I make any payment in advance towards the tuition I may have to wait another 28 days to meet the funds requirement for uk and then having to request the CAS again following which only I can apply for visa. That's going to delay visa app even further. I intend to apply for the visa in the first week of August in time for Sept intake towards the last week if I could do away with the pre payment.

If your CAS shows that are still £x to pay, you need to show you have the £x to pay them. The £x might be anything from zero to the full amount.

If you pay towards your fees after your CAS is issued, get confirmation from your sponsor that they have updated the CAS, so the Entry Clearance Officer has a correct figure for how much is still to pay and therefore how much you need to show.
I do not give immigration advice. I refer you to Immigration Rules, guidance, other online content and to your sponsor.

So, just wanted to confirm if I choose not to pay and only show the funds I have instead that will suffice. Does it affect the genuine status of the student?
