Non EEU' s going in business partnership with Irish National

Post by gouldjones » Mon Feb 11, 2008 2:14 am

Hi. my long term boyfriend and I, both australians, have been offered an opportunity to come and start up a business with an Irish National. He needs my boyfriends skills, and we need his investment money. I would be doing "office support" unpaid until the business builds up enough to pay me- we can both support ourelsves on the single wage we will draw from the business. The business itself will employ more than two Irish nationals. My partner has a UK ancestry visa, I do not. Our investment partner seems to think we can enter and just set up business and go for it. Our reading of the the situation is that we need Business Entry Permission- both my partner and I would be shareholders of the new company in partnership with the Irish national- advice please!!!! We do not want to jeopardise this opportunity by entering Ireland the wrong way. THANK YOU
