Tier 4 to Tier 2G Visa p45 needed?

Post by anik1212 » Fri Jun 30, 2017 11:28 am

I have been working in an IT company on my tier 4 student visa since 2015. (Part time) . My employer got T2 license last year. I have made an application for tier 4 to tier 2(G) switch. My application was refused, I applied for Admin review, this was refused too. After that I was given 14 days to apply or leave, and I was also told not to work in the meantime before I get my tier 2G visa. I reapplied and this time I got the visa(same day service). And I did not work for 7 days since I got the refusal letter, and begin working the day after I got the visa (on the same day my work suppose to begin according to cos), I am employed on the same position.
My employer has been asking me if I need a p45 letter to end the job and restart the job with a new contract as I am now on different visa category. Can any one help with some information?

Not really.
If you really want to be safe, ask him not to pay you for 7 days that you were not working and make a record of it .. and keep it safe for future.
that should be enough
