EEA FM-received my current BRP instead of a biometric letter

Post by ksunti20 » Sat Jul 01, 2017 12:14 pm

Hi there,

I submitted the EEA FM application online (in a joint EEA QP application with my husband on 25 April 2017. The application has been made and paid online on 25 April 2017.

I submitted the required original documents on the 26 of April through the European Passport Return Service.
Until now I have still not received a biometric enrolment letter from the UK Home Office.

I have chased the home office several time through calls and emails in the past weeks. Finally, the Home Office confirmed that they had sent a biometric enrolment letter on 27 June, however I have not received this but I received a letter dated 27 June that I requested the return of my current BRP card and my original BRP card.

I previously submitted a request to have this returned on 18 May. I wasn't too sure if I messed up the process of the application.

I'm really concerned that the Home Office may have sent this instead of the biometric enrolment letter (unless this was a separate letter which happened to be also dated 27 June).

Any advise on what I should do now?

Now my new company is waiting for a COA letter from me. I might loose a job if I can't provide the COA letter on time. Now it is very closed to my deadline.

Thanks in advance,
K
