No biometric letter, no reply, where to ask about it?

Post by J_Richard » Mon Jul 03, 2017 11:36 am

Hi all,

I am very concerned about my EEA QP and my wife (EEA family member) residence card application, since we did the following:

-Website application and fees 17/05/2017
-Documentation sent 18/05/2017 through European Office (passport copies)

and since then we had not received the letter asking for the biometrics, which I believe my wife suppose to receive in a few days after sending the documents.

Is that alright? Where can we call or ask for help in case something is not going as should? I tried to follow the process into the website with the case ID (8 digits number) they sent on the email (17/05) but the website does not recognise it.

By the way, I am Italian and my wife from outside EEA...
Thank you

Home office have seen an influx of lots of applications. I submitted my application in April and I only received my biometrics enrolment letter in June. So, you just have to be patient. As long as they debited your account for the application fee, they will most definitely get intouch with you.

Although I did send an email to the biometrics enrolment but I cannot say for sure if they helped in anyway.
