My wife and daughter applied for a Tier 2 dependent visa from outside of UK to join me here. However, their visa application was rejected , and the case worker noted that:
My wife wants to move to Manchester while the home address on my certificate of sponsorship is of Edinburgh and that implies that she does not intend to live with me while she is in the UK.
That’s the only reason given.
This despite the fact that my wife submitted my tenancy agreement that shows my current home address is in Manchester. Also, my CoS clearly states that my work address is in Manchester. So, the case worker has enough proof that I live and work in Manchester.
Yes, the CoS has the home address of Edinburgh but it was because I was there when I applied for this job. I then moved to my new place of work and was told by employer that since my CoS has been used no amendments can be made in it regarding change of home address.
So basically, the case worker relied on an outdated document and chose to overlook a valid and current tenancy agreement.
I should be very grateful if you could help me with some suggestions for my AR.
