Child British Passport

Post by mayaali » Mon Jul 03, 2017 5:05 pm

Hello

I am applying for my baby daughter's first British passport. She is 3 months old.My husband is British but I am holding a Pakistani passport. Should I need to provide my Resident permit and Marriage certificate along with other documents?
Another question is I have already posted my application today. Can I send these documents ( Resident permit and Marriage certificate) separately?

Assuming your daughter is born in the United Kingdom.

If your husband is a British citizen then your daughter is British regardless of your immigration status. If you've already posted the application then wait- the Passport Office will contact you if they need anything additional.
