British citizen but still confused

Post by Tyson123456 » Mon Jul 03, 2017 5:13 pm

Hi all
I applied for british citizen and now i have even got a red passport. The main question from my side is just this. When i applied with my parents and brother the time was really rushing as well and most strange thing is i was married when i was applying for the citizenship.I hide this from my parents when i had to fill about my marital status i did filled as single but later out of my dad sight i did changed the marital status part.I even went to the interview for my passport aswell they didnt asked me about my marital status aswell and even in my naturalisation and pp there is no sign of marital status so sometimes i do think what if i didnt changed the marital status part sucessfully and it was submited as single .would this mistakes will cost me a big problem?will the wrong marital status in the form will put me in trouble?plz suggest me something.

As far as I know marital status has no bearing in naturalisation or passport application, unless you apply for naturalisation on the basis of being a spouse of a British citizen. Marital status is only shown on documents which are relevant. I don't think you have an issue, or maybe the issue is with your parents ...
