Post by babuuk » Fri Jul 07, 2017 1:09 am

Hi Guys,
i want to bring my wife under settled person family visa.I maintained my fund last 12 months as a director of a limited company.I worked as a contractor and money is being paid through business account.i took money from business account as a salary each month.the amount comes yeary £21000 from june'16 to june'17.Unfortunately i lost contract few days back.Currently i am looking for a employment or as a contractor.i wanted to apply for her this month.Though i am currently not in employment,am i eligible to apply after maintaining more than £18600 last one year.

Any experience like this??

Unfortunately not, as you need to submit evidence of ongoing employment or £62,500 in savings held in an accessible account for at least 6 months.

Your post isn't clear. Is your Limited company still active?

If you are a contractor running a limited you are still employed by your limited and entitled to pay from it. Just because the limited has no income does not mean you don't. Unless of course you've spent it all, in which case you are in a whole new world of pain......

In which case, as your company is still active, what is your response to Wanderer's post above :?:
